Long time no write! Oof, it has been an interesting two years and I’ve really slacked up on my writing. I’ve been so busy with work that I literally come home, eat, and sometimes hop right into my bed and sleep for the rest of the night. I haven’t had much time to really concentrate on myself due to my awkward schedule. Now that I have control of my schedule, I have a bit more “me time.”
Yesterday, I randomly decided to get into bed and take a little nap. It, unfortunately, lasted until almost 1am. Thankfully, I didn’t have to go to work today, so I decided to do a little workout. I ended up lollygagging for about two hours until actually doing cardio with a mixture of weight lifting. I finished around 3:30am, hopped back into bed around 4:30am, blinked, and suddenly the sun was rising. Instead of letting my workout high diminish, I walked over to Dunkin Donuts a little after 6am to get coffee like a moron. As a result, I’ve been up all day without a nap and had one of the most productive days I’ve had in a while.
I ate breakfast, painted a canvas for my mother, ate lunch, cleaned my apartment, and now writing this blog post. All I have to do now is a workout and that will be done a bit later. This may not sound like much, but on my days off, I usually get lost on YouTube or Twitch looking at nothing important. For this to be one of the first days that I actually got a few things done is amazing.
Recently, I’ve started a fitness journey Instagram account. I’ll talk about my struggles of weight in a different post. I’ve been feeling more motivated lately. I don’t know why, but I shouldn’t question it.
Other than that, I’m feeling good! I’ve changed the title of this blog so many times that I think I’ve finally found a name that fits my personal journey. I’m getting my life after putting it on pause for so long!
